Lindsay Rosenfeld

Lindsay Rosenfeld is a scientist and lecturer at the Institute for Child, Youth and Family Policy at the Heller School for Social Policy and Management at Brandeis University.

For diversitydatakids.org, Rosenfeld provides expertise in public health, social determinants of health and health equity, early childhood, health literacy and families of children with complex developmental, mental and physical health needs. In these areas, she lectures widely, teaches graduate-level courses and advises doctoral students. Rosenfeld has also authored numerous peer-reviewed publications, including in American Journal of Public Health; Child: Care, Health, and Development; Developmental Medicine and Child Neurology; Journal of Health Communication and Patient Education and Counseling.

Rosenfeld holds both doctorate and master’s degrees in public health from the Harvard T.H. Chan School of Public Health and a bachelor’s degree in women’s studies from Brown University. She has previously worked at Harvard Catalyst at Harvard Medical School and the Institute for Urban Health Research & Practice at Northeastern University. She is the 2019-2020 Crocker Fellow at the Institute for Community Inclusion, UMass-Boston and Boston Children’s Hospital; a Health Literacy Studies Scholar; a representative to the Massachusetts Interagency Coordinating Council on Early Intervention; and a member of the American Dental Association’s National Advisory Committee on Health Literacy in Dentistry.
